WARROAD/ROSEAU/BGMR USE DEPTH TO BEAT CROOKSTON GIRLS SWIMMERS

The Crookston Pirate Girls Swim team had four first-place finishes but the North (Warroad/Roseau/BGMR) used their depth for a 115-52 victory in a dual at the Warroad High School pool.  Mackenze Aamoth led the Pirates with two first-place finishes in the 100 Butterfly and the 100 Backstroke.  Aamoth was also on two second-place relay teams.

CROOKSTON GIRL’S SOCCER LOSES CLOSE BATTLE AT PELICAN RAPIDS

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Soccer team played a solid game, but ultimately lost at Pelican Rapids, 2-1, on Monday afternoon. The Vikings got payback after losing 5-1 at Crookston back on September 8. FIRST HALF – The Pirates got off to a solid start and scored the first goal of the game 14 minutes in.
