The Crookston High School Knowledge Bowl team competed on Wednesday at the University of Minnesota Crookston and finished second and sixth place. Crookston Blue took second place. The Crookston High School Senior High Knowledge Bowl teams ribboned at Tuesday’s meet in Thief River Falls. Crookston had two teams competing. Crookston High School sent two teams to compete in the Area 1 Envirothon last week. The teams tested their knowledge of many areas of natural resources, including soils, forestry, aquatics, wildlife, and current events. Crookston High School held a send-off for members of the FFA Chapter and two members of the High School Speech Team. The two-state participants for the speech are Shayla Azure and Zac Plante, coached by Brandon Neibauer-Adams.
