The 20th Annual Rydell Car & Bike Show will return to Grand Forks on Sunday, September 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rydell Chevrolet GMC Cadillac, 2700 S. Washington Street. This year, 100% of the money raised will benefit the Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC), with Rydell matching funds raised up to $40,000.
Now celebrating its 20th year, the Rydell Car & Bike Show has become an annual community tradition, bringing together automotive enthusiasts, families, and the community while raising money for local organizations. Over the past two decades, the event has raised more than $1.2 million for organizations serving the region.
“Celebrating the 20th year of the Rydell Car Show is something I’m incredibly proud of, especially knowing the impact this event has been able to make in our community. CVIC is an organization that means a great deal to me personally, well beyond our support through Rydell. As a young child, I received services through an organization much like CVIC during a very difficult time in my life. I know firsthand how important it is for a child and a family to have somewhere safe to turn when they need help. I can say without hesitation that my life would be very different today if those services hadn’t been available to me. That’s why supporting CVIC isn’t simply about giving back to our community, it’s personal. Knowing that the money raised through the Rydell Car Show helps make those same kinds of resources available to people in our community makes this event incredibly meaningful to me,” says Ben Cahalan, General Manager of Rydell Chevrolet GMC Cadillac.
More than 350 cars and bikes are expected to be on display at this year’s show. In addition to the vehicles, attendees can enjoy live music, a silent auction, a free-will lunch and family activities, including bounce houses and face painting. Admission to the event is free.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to see vehicles from the Rydell Toy Shop, with complimentary shuttles running from the main showgrounds at Rydell Chevrolet GMC Cadillac to the Toy Shop throughout the event.

Vehicle owners are invited to be part of the show. Registration is $40 per vehicle, with 100% of registration proceeds benefiting CVIC. Participants can register in advance online at www.RydellCarShow.com or register the day of the event up until the start of the show.
Those who are unable to attend but would still like to support CVIC can donate online at www.RydellCarShow.com. Funds will also be raised throughout the day through vehicle registrations, the silent auction, a free-will lunch, and direct donations. Rydell will match the total amount raised, up to $40,000.
