145 EMPLOYEES AT LM WIND POWER HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

John Bernstrom, communications specialist for the City of Grand Forks, released the following statement regarding the updated number of positive cases of COVID-19 among employees at LM Wind Power –

In a world of ever-changing data, the ND Dept. of Health sent us updated numbers regarding LM Wind Power right at the end of our news conference today.

145 LM employees tested positive (130 North Dakotans and 15 from out of state).

This number is lower than what Deb Swanson (Grand Forks Public Health Director) gave at the news conference today because the state was able to determine individuals who were tested more than once.  For example, getting tested at a private healthcare facility and also getting tested at the mass testing event.
