GRAND FORKS MAN ARRESTED ON TERRORIZING CHARGES IN GRAND FORKS WALMART

On June 13, at about 10:28 p.m. Officers of the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to Walmart, 5755 Gateway Dr., for a report of an unknown male in the electronic section of the store with a gun.  The subject was located inside the store and after a brief struggle with officers was taken into custody.  No firearms were recovered on scene.  At this time there are no indications the male ever had a firearm or that shots were fired.  No injuries were reported by anyone on scene.  Through the course of the investigation it was determined that an altercation occurred between the male subject and a Walmart employee. 

Arrested was 30-year-old Brandon DuBois of Grand Forks.  DuBois was charged with C felony terrorizing, C felony preventing arrest and B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.  At this time there are no indications of any continuing threat to the public and Walmart remained opened per its business hours.  The Grand Forks Police Dept. was assisted by the University of North Dakota Police Dept. on this call.
