21ST ANNUAL MR. CHS CONTEST WILL BE HELD SUNDAY EVENING

The 21st Annual Mr. CHS is coming up this Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the Crookston High School auditorium.  Linda Morgan, Crookston High School Leo Club Advisor, is organizing Mr. CHS this year along with the Student Council. “Our theme is Superheroes,” said Morgan.  “The boys came up with it and they each picked out a superhero to be.  My six contestants are Blaine Asman, his talent will be something with the piano, he’s very musical.  Tai Baig will be doing something with the drums, he is in band.  Ben Brantner will be singing a song.  Cooper Brown will be juggling.  Caden Osborn is putting on some kind of skit.  And our final contestant is Walker Winjum and he’ll be doing something with the trombone.  We have different variations of talents, so that will be fun to see.”

The opening number will use the superhero theme explains Morgan.  “The opening number is going to deal with superheroes,” said Morgan.  “It’s really cute.  We’ve been working on it.  I’m going to go get them a mask of their favorite hero, so they’ll be wearing that during the opening number.”

For more on Mr. CHS, listen to Focus on Education Saturday at 8:35 a.m.
