Crookston School Board to Meet Tonight

The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday at 5:00 p.m. in the Crookston High School Choir/Orchestra room.
The meeting agenda includes the following personnel items – The resignation from Robbie Nessler as the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball coach, the resignation from Nancy Asman as a Title aide and Educational assistant at Washington School.  Other personnel items include the approval of lane advancement requests, employment of Serena Stoeck as School Age Care at Washington School and Carol Picard as School Age Care at Highland School.
Main agenda items include – The setting of the Truth-in-Taxation hearing and World’s Best Workforce Hearing dates, approval of a Bremer Line of Credit, approval of the Minnesota School Board Association’s recommended changes in the 20 different policies, and the approval of substitute teacher rates as recommended by Superintendent Jeremy Olson.
The board will be asked to accept a donation from the Crookston Junior Olympic Volleyball program in the amount of $2,500 to be used towards the Pirate Volleyball program.
The meeting will wrap up with reports from Crookston High School Principal Eric Bubna, Highland School Principal Chris Trostad, and Superintendent Olson.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 10 at 5:00 p.m.
