Tonight in Fertile, MN, the Agassiz Environmental Learning Center, located at 400 Summit Ave. SW will be celebrating a Star Party. What is a star party, you might be wondering? A star party is an exciting gathering of astronomy enthusiasts and curious individuals who come together to appreciate the wonders of the universe. It’s a chance to explore celestial objects, participate in interactive theme-based activities, and share new experiences with fellow stargazers of all levels. During the Statewide Star Party, the Bell Museum partners with organizations across Minnesota to orchestrate a symphony of star parties taking place during the same weekend. This is the 3rd year that the Agassiz Environmental Learning Center has taken part in this event.
This year’s star party at the Agassiz Environmental Learning Center will be celebrating the moon for International Observe the Moon Night. Please join us at 7:00 p.m. for the 5th Annual Statewide Star Party.
