CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL SNOWFEST WEEK BEGINS MONDAY

Crookston High School’s Snowfest Week begins Monday (January 28) with a week full of themed days and a collection for Pennies for Patients, an organization CHS has collected money for each of the last eight years.   “When I started Leo Club eight years ago, I received this information and thought this is a good cause with cancer and kids which hits home,” said Crookston High School Leo Club advisor Linda Morgan.  “It’s a nice little project to do and the classes compete against each other over about a month to collect the most.  The prime time that collects the most money will get donuts or rolls and juice from the Leo Club.”

Monday, January 28 – U.S.A. & Penny Day
Tuesday, January 29 – Career/Job & Nickel Day
Wednesday, January 30 – Jersey & Dime Day
Thursday, January 31 – T.V./Movie Character & Quarter Day
Friday, February 1 – College Day

Also on Friday –
10:00 to 10:30 a.m. – School gathering with an introduction of senior winter sports athletes, Snowfest Royalty introduction, the band will play and a senior athlete vs. staff dodgeball game

9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. – Snowfest Dance – $8 charge at door – doors close at 10:00 p.m. at CHS Commons
