HUGO’S FAMILY MARKETPLACE DONATES $1,293 TO SALVATION ARMY

On Thursday Hugo’s Family Marketplace Assistant Store Director Nick Nelson presented the Salvation Army with a check for $1,293.00.  Nelson says Hugo’s looks forward to helping the Salvation Army every year and their customers deserve thanks for being a big part of that support. “We just want to thank the customers and Hugo’s as well,” said Nelson.  “It’s $1,293 that goes to the Salvation Army to help the community and everyone as a whole.  Once again, thank you for the donations.”

Margee Keller, Polk County Salvation Army Service Unit Chairperson, said the Hugo’s store in Crookston has supported the Salvation Army annually but went above and beyond this year.  “Annually the Hugo’s store in Crookston has supported our Salvation Army Kettle efforts,” said Keller.  “This year they did it over and above.  We got a donation of $1,293, and we are very thankful to have them in our community.”

Also present were Sheriff Jim Tadman, Polk County Salvation Army Unit Board Member, and Chief Deputy Mike Norland.
