The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Dennis Charles Roberts, 24 of Minneapolis, for felony 4th-degree assault at a secure treatment facility.
Joellen Teresa Hanson, 50 of Twin Valley, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.
Billy Wayne Goodwin Jr., 29 of Hillsboro, ND, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.
Darrin James Hager, 29 of East Grand Forks, for misdemeanor domestic assault. Bail supplied.
Michael Ned Valinski, 41 of Crookston, for felony 3rd-degree drug possession in a school, park, or public housing zone.
Dustin Lee Gowell, 26, for a felony probation violation.
Jordan Lawrence Nelson, 25 of Crookston, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.
Shannon Andrew Rosewaren, 39 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.

2/12/2021
At 10:17 a.m., the CFD responded to a call at the 100 block of N Broadway for a hot smell in the building. Upon investigation, CFD could not find the source of the smell or any danger present. CFD cleared the scene.
At 2:22 p.m., the CFD responded to a call at the 100 block of N Broadway for a hot smell. CFD investigated again and did not find anything. HVAC contractors were called to investigate, they did not find a source of the smell or any danger. CFD then cleared the scene.
2/13/2021
At 7:32 a.m., the CFD responded to the area of Summit Ave and Barrette St for a gas smell. Upon investigation, there was a gas smell present, and Great Plains Natural Gas had been contacted. Great Plains then notified CFD that there was a small leak underground that had been fixed.
2/14/2021
At 7:34 a.m., the CFD responded to the 500 block of Walsh St. for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found the alarm was activated due to burnt food. CFD ventilated the room and cleared the scene.
