The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Marla Rodriguez, 27 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault. Released on personal recognizance.
Juan Bustamante, 47 of Austin, for felony 1st-degree sale 10 grams or more of cocaine, heroin, or methamphetamine within a 90-day period.
Kane Rodriguez, 33 of Crookston, for a gross misdemeanor for violation of a domestic assault no-contact order.
Christina Mae Corona, 43, of East Grand Forks, for a gross misdemeanor traffic violation for driving after cancelation. Released on personal recognizance.
Jacob Zeferino Gomez, 37, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.
Trisha Mary Berg, 40 of East Grand Forks, for felony 5th-degree drug possession, procurement, or control by false title or representation with a prior conviction.
Christopher Paul Mattson, 43 of Crookston, for a felony probation violation.
Roy Olvan Aune, 28 of Naytahwaush, for gross misdemeanor domestic assault, a subsequent violation.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 3/13/2021:
At 4:05 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1500 block of N Front St, along the railroad tracks, for a small grass fire. CFD extinguished the fire, investigated the cause, and cleared the scene.
At 8:12 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of Fisher Ave for a hot smell. Upon investigation, it was found to be burning incense. CFD talked to homeowners and ventilated the room and cleared the scene.
