Ryan Palm named Bremer Bank Crookston Market Manager

Crookston High School and University of Minnesota Crookston grad Ryan Palm has settled into his new job as Market Manager and Ag Team Lead at Bremer Bank in Crookston.
Palm is a life-long resident of Crookston where he was a 1998 graduate of Crookston High School and he started working a day after graduation at Bremer Bank as a teller.
Ryan worked at Bremer while he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Marketing emphasis at UMC. After graduating from UMC in 2002, Ryan took a job at Agassiz Federal Credit Union for three years before managing Area Community Credit Union for seven years.  The last seven years were spent at Ag Country as a loan officer and now he is back at Bremer and started as Market President on July 17. “All the experiences, from being on the teller line to the credit union world to a loan officer and everything else is the customer service aspect,” said Palm. “Learning the financials and learning the people.  That is one thing I like to do, work with people.  You get to work with people who have the dream of a new home or new car and the greatest time is when they come in with the last payment and achieved their dream.”
Palm said he is fortunate to have a great staff to work with at Bremer. “I am very lucky and blessed with the crew that I get to work with at Bremer,” said Palm. “They are an amazing crew and they are fantastic at what they do and Bremer is a wonderful company and I am excited to be a part of it working with the customers and clients.”
As an active volunteer in the community, Palm serves on the Board of Directors for Sunrise Center for Children and Families, is a committee member of the Crookston Chamber Ag Team and Ambassador for the Crookston Chamber of Commerce.
Palm replaces Jim Snyder, who recently retired.
