The Crookston Public Schools released a message to all School District parents and members this morning that today is Minnesota Bus Driver Appreciation Day. A day to celebrate our bus drivers and thank them for safely transporting our students and your children to school and back home each day.
Our district’s bus drivers have a very challenging job and are probably one of the most overlooked and underappreciated workers. They deal with crazy schedules, snowy/icy roads, bad weather, bold students, and a strict time schedule.
We all need to tell our kid’s bus driver “thank you” for driving our child safely. Please encourage your child, on behalf of your family, to say “thank you” to their bus driver.
