NO FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED IN DEATH OF BETH SUPER

The female located on Monday, September 18 in a cornfield near Nielsville has been identified as Beth Super. Foul play is not suspected at this time. The
investigation is ongoing, and no further information is being released.

UPDATE -9-18-23
On Monday, September 18, with the assistance of the Grand Forks UAS Team, a deceased female was located in a cornfield in the general area where the 2014 Ford Focus was located. The deceased was taken to the UND School of Medicine Forensic Pathology for autopsy and identification. There are no public safety concerns at this time. Beltrami Fire Department assisted. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is being released.

On Sunday, September 17, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an abandoned black Ford Focus near the intersection of 310th Ave SW and 450th St SW, rural Nielsville. It was discovered that the vehicle was believed to have been driven by Beth Super, who was recently reported missing in Morrison County, MN. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the area to be on the lookout for Beth.
