Former Crookston Pirate Football and Girls Basketball coach Eric Schmidt is currently the Special Teams and Defensive End coach for the University of Washington Husky Football team that will play Michigan in the NCAA National Championship Football game on Monday night in Houston.
KROX’s Chris Fee talked with him on Wednesday morning and recorded an interview talking about the game, coaching in Crookston, winning a National Championship as a player at the University of North Dakota, and taking the defensive coordinator position next year at San Diego State.
