CHS Woods and Metals class students get a presentation from the National Guard

On Friday, November 15, some of the Crookston High School’s first-year woods and Metals classes received a presentation from the Minnesota National Guard.

SSG Samuel Bakke and Specialist Bergquist gave a presentation. Crookston High School teacher Travis Oliver said, “The goal of the presentation was to let the students know the benefits of joining the National Guard and that within the National Guard, there are tons of opportunities in the trades. The trades are a big part of all the armed services, and sometimes I think that gets lost when discussing the career paths of a student.”
