Crookston Fourth Grade Girls Basketball team wins Dilworth Championship

The Crookston Fourth grade girls basketball team traveled to Dilworth on Saturday for the Winter Blast Basketball Tournament, where they cruised to a tournament championship.

In the first round, the girls defeated Hawley Gold with a 26-16 victory. They continued their strong play in the second round, beating the Perham Yellow Jackets 22-4. In the championship game, Crookston faced Four Winds War Party, and the girls sealed the title with a 24-8 victory.

The team’s defense and unselfish teamwork were key throughout the tournament. The 4th-grade girls CYBA team remains undefeated at 11-0 to start the season.
