Paige Tice Named RiverView Health’s Home Care Director

Paige Tice, RN, BSN, has learned the ins and outs of RiverView Health’s Home Care Department in the 10 years she has been with the organization. In the past decade, she’s worked as an RN case manager, RN Customized Living coordinator, RN clinical coordinator, and RN Home Care coordinator. That knowledge has led to Tice’s recent promotion to department director.

It’s a big job for a busy department with 20 team members. Tice said that, between nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, home health aide, and homemaking, the team makes about 430 monthly visits and provides customized living services to their clients living at Oak Court Apartments.

“Healthcare and specifically Home Care is ever-changing, so continuing to keep up to date and adapting to these changes is my plan, along with some changes and restructuring that have been taking place in our department since Gladys Bakken, who worked for the organization for 20+ years, retired,’’ Tice stated. “They are big shoes to fill, but I’m excited for the challenges and opportunities that our department has ahead of us.”

RiverView Home Care covers about a 40-mile radius. Team members bring services to clients homes in Polk, Pennington, Red Lake, Marshall, and Norman counties.

“The goals that I have for myself and for our Home Care Department are to continue to provide excellent care to our clients in the communities we serve,” she shared. “We will also continue to strive and achieve a 4+ Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services while tackling the challenges that come with regulation changes and reimbursement.”

Tice is from South Dakota, where she graduated from West Central High School in Hartford and received her RN BSN at Mount Marty College in Yankton. She’s been married to husband Corey for eight years. Corey works for Garden Valley Technologies out of Erskine. The couple has two children: son Cohen, who is six and in kindergarten at Fertile-Beltrami School, and daughter Saylor, who is four and in preschool. The family lives in Fertile with their 12-year-old Chocolate Lab, Lilly, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping in the summer.
