Families enjoyed Tuesday night’s Celebrate-the-Young Child event at the Crookston Public Library. The theme “Follow the Yellow Brick Road ” inspired many children to dress up like Wizard of Oz characters. Activities such as Magic Wand Making, Yellow Brick Bowling, Pin the Heart on the Tinman, & Playdough Witch Making were enjoyed, as well as the Oz Photo Booth. Free books were given to all the children. The C.A.L.L. committee planned the event, which was the second CYC event this year. The 3rd event will be held at Washington School on April 22.
