Sunrich Products in Crookston, MN is hiring for the following position:
Facility Maintenance Technician I; $25/hr
Responsible for maintaining the plant to keep operations running smoothly by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with other projects as assigned. Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions
•Maintain a high level of personal and environmental safety; use of appropriate PPE/GMP safety.
•Perform routine and general maintenance on plant equipment.
•Weld and install equipment following safety protocol and instructions.
•Complete work orders in order of priority and production needs
•Ensure all assigned paperwork is completed accurately and daily.
•Operate forklift and skid loader safely.
Knowledge and Skills
• Effective Communication – Mechanical & Technical – Welding, Drill Press, and Hand Tool Proficiency – Basic Computer – Critical Thinking and Problem Solving – Attention to detail – Basic Math Skills – Interpersonal effectiveness – Comprehensive understanding of Sunrich’s GMP Policies and Procedures and all Food and Safety Procedures
Minimum Qualifications
•High School Diploma/GED
•1-3 years related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Manufacturing/Food Industry environment experience
• Electrical certification/journeyman
