RiverView Health is looking for your support through Giving Hearts Day

Giving Hearts Day is Thursday! Please support RiverView Health through a donation to the RiverView Foundation to aid in RiverView’s mission of providing exceptional care for exceptional outcomes.

The RiverView Foundation has participated in the online, non-profit fundraiser since its start in 2008. Donations and gifts given in memory or honor of loved ones have been used to start projects and programs and purchase essential equipment to keep our community healthy.

The RiverView Foundation Board has determined that undesignated Giving Hearts Day 2026 contributions be used to support the Immunoassay (IA) Chemistry and Blood Culture Incubator Replacement projects, along with rural healthcare services in our region. IA testing is often used to confirm or rule out a heart attack in as little as one hour. In 2025, RiverView’s IA machine processed 7,645 samples.

Early Giving is Open
If you do not want to wait until Thursday to donate, you can give your gift now, ahead of the big day, by going to https://rvhealth.org/GHD. Online giving is open through Feb. 12.

The Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF), Impact Foundation, and Alex Stern Family Foundation host Giving Hearts Day. This year, these generous donors and others will provide up to $100,000 in match contributions to the Foundation to stretch donations even further to make the maximum impact.

“Thank you for your past support and consideration of a gift to Giving Hearts Day 2026,’’ stated Foundation Director Randy Schoenborn. “Your belief and trust in our mission will make a positive difference in the future health and vitality of our rural region.’’
