Crookston High School’s Community Projects class, taught by Travis Oliver, recently designed and built another desk for the Crookston Sports Center. The desk has a 2×4 construction frame with a Calico Hickory facade and top. The students had to use different tools in the woods lab to create it. They also designed logos in the V-Carve software and
The Crookston High School Community Projects class took on the challenge of building four high-top tables for the University of Minnesota Crookston Athletic Fueling Station. The tables were made for the remodel of a space in the Upper Level of the UMC Athletic Center. The space will become a Nutrition Hub for the Golden Eagle Athletes.
American Crystal Sugar is proud to present the Crookston School District with a $3,000 check to help complete their greenhouse project. Industrial Tech teacher Travis Olver stated that in June of 2024, the Crookston School District received a grant from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture to build a greenhouse on the Crookston High School property.
