The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following-
Shon Platt Jr., 20 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault
Logen Tayler Kurz, 21 of East Grand Forks, for introducing contraband into jail.
Hugo Francisco Alfonso Albores, 42 of Crookston, for drivers license violation with driving restrictions alcohol/controlled substances.

Fire Report
On Saturday, February 14th, at 7:45 a.m., the Crookston fire department responded to an alarm activation on the 100th block of Sargeant. On scene, they found it had been caused by burnt food, so they naturally ventilated the smoke, reset the alarm, and cleared the scene.
On Sunday, February 15th, at 10:22 a.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a two-car accident outside of Crookston on Highway 75. Both cars were in separate ditches. EMS assisted one passenger. The fire department assisted with traffic control until a tow truck arrived, then cleared the scene.
On Sunday, February 15th, at 5:40 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a report of fire in the basement of a home on James Avenue. On scene, they extinguished the flames and cleared the scene.
On Sunday, February 15th, at 9:45 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to an alarm activation on the 1200th block of US Highway 75. On scene, they were met by staff who reported smoke coming from the mechanical room. They used thermal imaging and found nothing wrong, so they cleared the scene.
