In celebration of Poetry Month, a hands-on learning activity for youth ages 5-18 is scheduled at the Crookston Public Library in two sessions, one on Monday, April 27, at 6 p.m. and the other on Tuesday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. The programs offer young learners the opportunity to explore poetry in a hands-on, fun way, as well as for parents and caregivers to explore the many educational resources the library offers. This is one of several programs for youth held throughout the month; others include weekly Storytime (Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.) for youth ages 3-6 and a weekly Baby Bounce (Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.) for youth ages 0-3.
All programs are open to the public and are offered free of charge. The Crookston Public Library is located at 110 N. Ash St. A full calendar of events can be found at larl.org/events.
