The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team finished eighth place out of nine teams while shooting a 352. East Grand Forks 1 won the meet with an impressive 299, 10 strokes better than Roseau 1 at the Roseau Invitational at Oakcreek Golf Course on Saturday.
Crookston was led by Garrett Fischer with a 78, good for ninth place. The medalist was Brody Johnson of East Grand Forks with a 70.
Garrett Fisher, a senior, shot an 78 to finish in 9th place. Garrett carded 13 pars, three bogies, and two double bogies.
Evan Shockman, a senior, shot an 85 for 37th place. Evan had one birdie, six pars, seven bogies, and four double bogies.
Harrison Cameron, an eighth grader, shot a 94 to finish 44th place. Harrison carded two pars, nine bogies, and seven double bogies.
Kelby Fee, a seventh grader, shot an 95 and finished in 46th place. Kelby recorded two pars, nine bogies, six double bogies, and one triple bogey.
Colin Trudeau, a sophomore, shot a 100 and finished 50th place. Colin had four pars, four bogies, six double bogies, three triple bogies, one quadruple bogey.
Tony Elbinger, a senior, shot a 103 to finish 51st place. Tony had nine bogies, six double bogies, two triple bogies, and one five over par.
David Dauksavage, a senior, shot a 105 and finished 53rd place. David had eight bogies, eight double bogies, one quadruple bogey, and one six over par.
