To be eligible for the Employee of the Month award at RiverView Health, employees must have at least one year of service. Just six months after reaching that milestone, Julie Nordling earned the honor of being named RiverView’s Employee of the Month for March.
Julie serves as a registered nurse (RN) in both the Emergency Department and on the Inpatient Unit.
“A little over a year ago, I took a leap of faith and interviewed for an RN position here at RiverView,’’ she shared. “I was drawn to the hospital’s small-town feel, along with the opportunity to grow and expand my knowledge as a nurse. What I found was much more—a second family.
“What truly sets RiverView apart is its people. The coworkers I have the privilege of working alongside every day are what make this place exceptional—individuals who show up, no matter what, and consistently put their patients first. Thank you to all of my coworkers for your dedication to our patients and one another. I am incredibly honored to be a part of such a remarkable team.’’
Originally from Grand Forks, Julie has lived in Warren with her family for the past 10 years. She and her husband, Kellen, have four daughters—Hadley, Harlie, Haisley, and Henlie—as well as a dog, Mikka. In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, soaking up the sunshine outdoors, reading, and sewing.
