On Monday, August 10th, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Crookston Police Department responded to the intersection of North Broadway and 3rd Street in Crookston for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving an electric scooter.
Officers learned a 47-year-old male was traveling northbound on North Broadway on an electric scooter and collided with a motor vehicle driven by a 65-year-old female. The motor vehicle was traveling eastbound on 3rd Street. The 47-year-old male was transported by ambulance to Riverview Health for non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an active investigation, and no further information will be released at this time. The Crookston Police Department was assisted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department and the Crookston Area Ambulance.
