The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston has reported the arrest of the following:
Marissa Rae Mayer, 19, of Erskine, for DUI
Hanad Abdinur Khalif, 45, arrested in East Grand Forks, for dangerous weapon-discharge firearm in a municipality
Hector Armando Castilleja, 37, of Crookston, for possession of a pistol/assault rifle by an illegal alien
Justyn Ryan Edward Rembowski, 39, of East Grand Forks, for domestic assault-subsequent violation

Fire Report
On Wednesday, August 26th, at 6:00 pm, the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call at the city burn site. On scene, they found it had been caused by the fire spreading from the burn site into the river. They extinguished the flames after about half an acre had burned, then cleared the scene.
