On Friday, August 28 at approximately 8:09 AM the Crookston Police Department received a report of a motorcycle traveling westbound into Crookston on US Highway 2 at a high rate of speed. Crookston PD Officers located the motorcycle entering Crookston at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the motorcycle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated.
Officers pursued the suspect into the Sampson’s Addition and back eastbound on Highway 2. Officers discontinued the pursuit as the suspect fled eastbound on Highway 2.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a black coat, black helmet, with a black backpack. The black backpack had a square gold in color emblem on it.
The motorcycle is described as a neon green and black sportbike. The motorcycle did not have a visible plate.
