The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston has reported the arrest of the following:
Aurelio Benavidez Carrazales, 27, of Grand Forks, ND, for DUI- refuse to submit to chemical test

Fire Report
On Thursday, September 3rd, at 6:59 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to the 700th block of Woodland for a call of a cat stuck in a tree. On scene, they were unable to retrieve the cat from the tree because of its height and position. The homeowner contacted a friend for assistance, and the scene was cleared.
On Thursday, September 3rd, at 5:02 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to the 740th block of S Ash for a call of a downed power line due to the storm. On scene, they found it had been caused by a falling branch. They stayed on scene until Ottertail Power arrived, and turned the scene over to them.
