Do you enjoy writing? Whether you write for personal enjoyment, to grow as a writer, or with publication in mind, the new Crookston Writers Group is a place to share your work, receive constructive feedback, and connect with other local writers.
Their first meeting will be Wednesday, September 23, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. at the Crookston Public Library, 110 N. Ash Street.
Bring an excerpt or something you’ve been working on—it doesn’t need to be finished. If you’d like feedback, please bring several printed copies to pass around the group. Copies will be returned to you. We’ll make time for writers to share their work and offer friendly, constructive verbal feedback and written notes.
Fiction, nonfiction, and poetry are all welcome. And you don’t have to share anything! You’re equally welcome to come listen, meet other writers, and see what the group is like.
Refreshments will be served.
The group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 6:00–7:00 p.m.
The Crookston Public Library also connects writers with resources and opportunities such as the Minnesota Author Project, a statewide program supporting and recognizing independent Minnesota authors.
