The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for portions of northwest and west-central Minnesota and eastern North Dakota until 3:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21.
It includes 12 Minnesota counties – Becker, Kittson, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Clay, Grand, Otter Tail, and Wilken counties.
It also includes 17 North Dakota counties – Benson, Cavalier, Eddy, Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Towner, Walsh, Barnes, Cass, Griggs, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele, and Trail.
The watch includes the following cities, Ada, Aneta, Argyle, Ashby, Barrett, Breckenridge, Cando, Cavalier, Cooperstown, Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Devils Lake, Drayton, East Grand Forks, Elbow Lake, Enderlin, Fargo, Fergus Falls, Finley, Grafton, Grand Forks, Hallock, Halstad, Hatton, Hillsboro, Karlstad, Lakota, Lancaster, Langdon, Milnor Minnewaukan, Moorhead, Naytahwash, Park River, Pembina, Portland, Red Lake Falls, Stephen, Thief River Falls, Twin Valley, Valley City, Wahpeton, Warren, and Waubun.
