Addison Lynn Loiland-OBIT

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Addison Lynn Loiland, a precious baby who brought immense joy to her loving parents and all who knew her. Addison’s life may have been brief, but the impact she made in the hearts of those around her will be cherished forever.

Born in Fargo, ND on May 29, 2023, Addison entered this world with a radiant smile and a heart full of love. From the moment she was swaddled in warmth, it was clear that she possessed a gentle spirit that could light up any room.

Tragically, on August 2, 2023, Addison’s journey unexpectedly came to an end at Riverview Hospital in Crookston. Though her time with us was far too short, it is comforting to know that she passed away peacefully with her devoted parents by her side. The loss of such a pure and innocent life leaves an indescribable void in our hearts.

Addison’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her mother Cassidy Halvorson, father Tristan Loiland, grandmother Rebecca Nelson, and grandfather Travis Halvorson. Their lives were touched deeply by Addison’s presence and they will carry her spirit with them always.

A visitation will be held on August 19, 2023, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Crookston from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for loved ones to gather together, offering support and solace during this difficult time.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 1:00 PM. It will be a chance for everyone to come together and celebrate the beautiful life that Addison lived, even if it was far too short. Let us honor her memory by sharing stories of the joy and happiness she brought into our lives.  May her radiant smile continue to shine down upon us, reminding us of the preciousness of life and the importance of cherishing every moment.

Addison is survived by her parents, Cassidy Halvorson and Tristan Loiland of Crookston, MN; Great-Grandparents:  Glen (Marion) Halvorson of Fosston, MN; Terry (Joan) Swanson of Tenstrike, MN; Thomas (Kathy) Quirk of Mentor, MN; Linda Nelson of International Falls, MN; Betty and Clayton Loiland of Thief River Falls, MN; Patti and Russel Bacon of Erskine, MN; Grandparents:  Alison Bacon and Jeremy Loiland of Thief River Falls; Travis and Kelly Halvorson of Grand Forks, ND; Rebecca Nelson of Crookston.
