Albert Riendeau – Obit

Albert Paul Riendeau, age 69, of Red Lake Falls, MN, passed away on August 1, 2018 in Gentilly Township, MN.
Albert was born on September 19, 1948 in Crookston, MN to Omer and Cecelia (Audette) Riendeau. He attended school at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and graduated in 1966.
Albert married the love of his life, MaDonna Mae Valley on December 11, 1971 in Gentilly, MN. They settled down on a farmstead outside of town to raise their three children, Jennifer, Jason, and Jolie. Albert started farming when he was 16 years old and enjoyed farming throughout his life. He also was in the Army National Guard. Albert enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife, MaDonna, children, and grandchildren.
Albert is survived by his wife, MaDonna; children, Jennifer (Paul) Schallberg of Mead, CO, Jason (Marsha) Riendeau of Rice, MN, and Jolie (William) Leveck of Mead, CO; grandchildren, Samuel and Nathaniel Schallberg, Lexi and Trevor Riendeau, and Lana, Kara, and Liam Leveck; siblings, Raymond (Diane) Riendeau of South Carolina, Sister Geraldine Riendeau of Baton Rouge, LA, Pat (Ray) Reese of Jackson, MN, Jeanette (Jerry) Lee of Mahtomedi, MN, Mary (Allan) LaCoursiere of Blaine, MN, and Paula Demarais of Rogers, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Cecelia; and his brother, Joel Riendeau. May God bless Albert’s memory. The Riendeau family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
The Funeral Mass for Albert will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to service on Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Gentilly, MN. Inurnment will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Gentilly, MN.
