Altru names Margot Miller as Provider of the Quarter

Margot Miller, family nurse practitioner with Altru Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, has been named Altru’s Provider of the Quarter in recognition of her outstanding teamwork, encouragement, and dedication to those around her.

Miller was nominated for her positive impact on students, staff, and new graduates. Colleagues shared that she consistently goes above and beyond her workplace responsibilities to mentor and support others, helping build confidence and create a welcoming learning environment.

“Margot exemplifies what it means to win as a team,” said Dr. Josh Deere, Altru president. “Her encouragement, positivity, and willingness to invest in others make a lasting impact on both our patients and our teams. Margot’s ability to uplift those around her, especially in challenging situations, reflects the compassionate and collaborative culture we strive to create at Altru every day.”

“Margot’s presence is associated with improved morale and increased productivity even in stressful environments,” a nominator commented. “Her absence is sharply felt, and staff are renewed in mood and spirit in her company.”

As a family nurse practitioner with Altru Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Miller cares for patients with a wide range of orthopedic and sports medicine needs while also serving as a trusted mentor and teammate within the organization.

Altru established this award in 2021 to recognize outstanding care provided by Altru providers.
