American Crystal Sugar is proud to award the Crookston Fire Department a check for $5,000. This grant will support the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, and other necessary equipment. These resources will enhance the department’s ability to respond effectively to hazardous material incidents and confined space rescues.
The Crookston Fire Department, consisting of 32 members, prioritizes cancer prevention, firefighter health, and safety. They maintain a high level of professionalism through ongoing in-house and specialized training in basic and advanced firefighting, first responding, and hazmat response and rescue.
American Crystal Sugar’s support aims to assist the Crookston Fire Department in acquiring essential Personal Protective Equiqment, tools, and equipment to ensure the safety of their firefighters.
