In April of 2012, Ampride Taxi was established to provide public transportation for the citizens of Crookston and the surrounding area. Since origination, we were able to provide rides for individuals to church, doctors appointments, shopping, airports, and special events. Ampride was honored to provide transportation to those who took advantage of this service. Since the inception of Ampride Taxi, another local business has expanded its public transportation hours. Tri-Valley Transportation, known as T.H.E. Bus, is funded by a grant through the Minnesota Department of Transportation will now provide transportation for the citizens of Crookston and surrounding areas for the hours of –
Monday- Friday 6:00 am – 9:00 pm (extending)
Saturday- 10:00 am -4:00 pm
Sunday – 7:30 am – 1:30 pm
With great deliberation, Ampride has decided to discontinue Ampride Taxi effective March 15, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. If you have purchased prepaid taxi cards and do not use them by March 15, 2020 you may bring the unused card into the Ampride office during regular office hours (Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and they will refund any unused rides. The deadline to submit your unused cards will be March 31, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
