AREA AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY MEMBERS ATTEND THE STATE CONVENTION

The American Legion Auxiliary held its 104th State Convention at the Wilmar Convention Center on July 11-13.

Auxiliary members from the area attending were Sharon Lanctot (President of Crookston Unit 20 and District 9 Secretary), Margee Keller (Vice President of Unit 20, District 9 Treasurer, and Department AEF Chairman), Jean Walker (President of Warren Unite 27, District Parliamentarian, Past President, and Department NEC).

Sharon Lanctot, Margee Keller, and Janet Keller assisted the incoming Department President, Judy Ackerman, with her special VA & R silent auction. The funds raised will provide additional assistance to the Veterans Homes in Preston, Montevideo, and Bemidji.

The newly elected officers for 2024-25 are Judy Ackerman as Department President, Robin Dorf as First Vice President, Lindy Kelly as Second Vice President, Jean Walker as NEC, and Rayleen Tolzman as Alternate NEC.
