Arrest/Fire Report – February 1, 2019

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Antonio Eric Trevino, 30 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic abuse violate order for protection.  Was released on personal recognizance.

Cassidy Morgan Sanborn, 24 of Hibbing, for a gross misdemeanor probation violation.

Fire Calls – 

The Crookston Fire Department responded to a car fire 9:00 a.m. Thursday on the 1400-block of South Front. They extinguished the fire, investigated, and determined the cause was an electrical malfunction.

At 1:50 p.m. in the afternoon, they responded to an alarm for a broken sprinkler head. Upon arrival, they found that RiverView Health staff had already isolated the issue and they were getting started on repairs.

At 5:30 p.m. they were called for a beeping detector on the 600-block of 5th Avenue South. The detector had reached its expiration date, the owner will replace.

At  5:30 a.m. Friday morning they investigated a strange smell on the 800-block of Groveland; dry sewer traps were the source.
