ARREST/FIRE REPORT- APRIL 11, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston made the following arrests.

Donovan Edward Eastman, 47, of Grand Forks, for 3rd-Degree Drug Sales

Jason Scott Anderson, 46, of Gully, for 4th-Degree DUI

Nicole Taylor, 34, of Minneapolis, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

4/8/2022

At 9 p.m., the CFD responded to the 2700 block of University Ave for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated and found a broken pipe was emitting steam in a mechanical room and caused the alarm to activate. The CFD reset the alarm, turned over control to staff, and cleared the scene.

4/9/2022

At 7 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of 7th St E. for a report of smoke. Upon arrival, it was found to be smoke from a campfire. There was no danger present, the CFD cleared the scene.

4/10/2022

At 7 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of Euclid Ave for a smoke detector activation. Upon arrival, it was found that burnt food had caused the detector activation. There was no danger present, the CFD cleared the scene.
