The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Marcus Diallo Freeman, 41, no address listed, for fifth-degree assault causing fear of bodily harm or death to another.
Herbert Andreas Ward, 35, of Grand Forks, for obstruction of the legal process and interference with a peace officer.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following call on 4/15/2024 –
At 4:16 p.m., the CFD responded to the railroad crossing on the Hwy 75 bypass for a report of a vehicle being hit by a train. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted local agencies with traffic control and roadway cleanup. Once the CFD’s services were no longer needed, the CFD cleared the scene.
