The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Gabriel Fuentes, 40, of Crookston, for driving after cancellation.
Destine Marlena Rivera, 23, of Pisek, North Dakota, for being a fugitive of justice from another state.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 4/17/2024 –
At 2:39 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of S Minnesota St for a report of a detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and no Carbon Monoxide was present. It was found that the detector needed new batteries. There was no danger present. The CFD replaced the batteries and cleared the scene.
