ARREST/FIRE REPORT- APRIL 28, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston made the following arrests.

Vanessa Marie Brown, 47, of Halstad, for 5th-Degree Assault

Jeff Leon Nygaard, 52, of East Grand Forks, for 3rd-Degree Drug Sales

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 4/27/2022 –

At 2:20 a.m., the CFD responded to the 400 block of Stuart Ave for a detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas detecting tools and there was no danger present. The CFD determined that a humidifier was throwing mist which set off the detector. The area was deemed safe, and the CFD cleared the scene.
