The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following–
Leangro Jesus Infante Urdaneta, 35, of Crookston, for 3rd Degree Drug Possession
Angel Reyes, 45, of Crookston, for DUI
Cordel Evan Ross McBain, 29, of Ada, for Failure to Appear
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls:
At 4:23 p.m., CFD responded to the 700 block of N Main St. for a CO detector activation. Crews found the detector was malfunctioning and recommended the homeowner replace it.
This morning at 1:35 a.m., CFD responded to the 200 block of E 3rd St. for a general fire alarm activation. CFD found smoke in the building coming from the kitchen area. Crews then discovered a clothes dryer was on fire. The fire was extinguished, and crews investigated further before clearing the scene.
