The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following–
James Steven Richter, 46 of Grand Forks, for misdemeanor domestic assault, commit act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death.
Crookston Fire Calls
There were multiple calls for the Fire Department yesterday.
At 8:37 a.m. the Fire Department responded to the 100 block of Sargent Street for an alarm activation, it was burnt food. The alarm was reset, and the scene cleared.
At 10:22 a.m. the Fire Department responded to an alarm activation on the 200 block of South Broadway. It was discovered workers were cleaning the ducts, and that had tripped the alarm. The Fire Department ensured everyone was safe, and then cleared the scene.
At 12:14 p.m., the Fire Department responded to the 1100 block of South Main for another alarm activation. It was discovered that work was being done on the electrical panel, and that had tripped the alarm. The Fire Department then cleared the scene.
At 3:20 p.m. the Fire Department responded to the 2900 block of University Avenue for reports of a malfunctioning elevator. The department ensured no one was trapped inside, before resetting the elevator. They then cleared the scene.
