ARREST/FIRE REPORT- AUGUST 24, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrest.

George Lynn Lowrey, 27, of Grand Forks, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 8/23/2022 –

At 6:50 p.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of N Main St. for a report of smoke showing out of a window. Upon arrival, the resident had extinguished the fire. There was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene. This incident is still under investigation.

At 9:23 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1700 block of Widman Ln to assist local EMS gain access to a building. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted the local EMS with access to the building and additional help with performing a lift assist. The CFD then cleared the scene.
