ARREST/FIRE REPORT-AUGUST 28

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Kyle Phillip Thompson, 25, of Mahnomen, for second-degree traffic DUI.

Joshua Edwin Hunt, 37, of Rison, Arizona, for second-degree traffic DUI with an alcohol concentration over .10.

Terimal Dion Singleton, 50, of Grand Forks, for fourth-degree traffic DUI.

Brady Bennet Ronne, 20, of Crookston, for first-degree drug possession.

Jefferey Nicholas Szerk, 50, of Ontario, Canada, for traffic DUI.

Randy, Joseph, Kappes, 42, of Ulen, for domestic abuse and violating an order of protection.

Gerald Joseph Amiot, 81, of Crookston, for traffic DUI.

Eric Robert Reed, 53, of Bemidji, for second-degree traffic DUI.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

8/25/2023

At 6:13 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1100 block of Sunflower St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that the sensor was sprayed with water during cleaning, which caused the activation. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.

8/27/2023

At 11:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 700 block of Alexander St. for a report of a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and no Carbon Monoxide was found. It was determined that the detector was at the end of its life. There was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
