ARREST/FIRE REPORT – December 13, 2021

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.

Frank Sylvan Johnson, 66 of Crookston, for First-Degree Criminal Sexual Misconduct.

Douglas Jon Doerfler, 22 of Naytahwash, for Domestic Assault.

Christopher James Erickson, 20 of Crookston, for Disseminate Pornographic Work.

Steven James Finn, 32 of Mentor, for Receiving Stolen Property.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

12/10/2021

At 10:23 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of Campbell Road for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, there was Carbon Monoxide found within the residence. After investigation, it was found that the furnace was running incorrectly. The CFD ventilated the home, and the homeowner contacted a furnace repair service to have the furnace fixed. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.

12/12/2021

At 12:52 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1400 block of Barrette St. for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon investigation, there was no Carbon Monoxide present, and it was found that the detector had a low battery. The CFD replaced the battery and cleared the scene.
