ARREST/FIRE REPORT-FEBRUARY 17, 2023

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the following arrest.

Jacob Angel Anguiano, 20, of Crookston, for 3rd-Degree Drug Possession of possible Schedule 1 or 2 Narcotics in a School/Park/Public Housing Zone.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 2/16/2023 and 2/17/2023 –

2/16/2023

At 9:24 a.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of S Minnesota St for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found to be caused by maintenance on the system. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.

2/17/2023

At 5:34 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1500 block of N Broadway for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be a system malfunction. The CFD investigated for the cause of the malfunction, and no source was found. There was no danger present. The CFD contacted management and cleared the scene.
